Course 1 (8 Module)

Future Makers Program – Course 1 Introduction

8 Modules to Build Product Design Mindset Through 3D Printing

The Future Makers Program – Course 1 is designed to help students take their first step into product design, CAD modeling, reverse engineering, and 3D printing.

This course is not only about teaching students how to use a 3D printer. Our main goal is to help students develop a product design mindset — to observe real problems, think of practical solutions, turn ideas into digital designs, and finally produce real prototypes using 3D printing.

Course 1 consists of 8 learning modules. Before starting Module 1, teachers are advised to watch the Teacher Guide Video first.

The course materials are arranged into three main parts:

1. Teacher Guide Video

This is a general guide video for teachers to watch before starting the course. It explains the course structure, teaching flow, classroom preparation, suggested teaching style, important notes, and things to pay attention to when conducting the lessons.

After watching this guide video, teachers will have a clearer understanding of how to use the course materials and how to deliver the lessons in class.

2. Teaching Slides

Each module includes a set of teaching slides prepared by Harimau3D. These slides are used during our own teaching sessions and can also be used by teachers when conducting the lesson in class.

3. Real Classroom Teaching Video

Each module also includes a recorded classroom teaching video, so teachers can see how the lesson is actually delivered to students. This helps teachers understand the lesson flow, explanation style, student engagement, and practical classroom activities.

We will continue to review and update the course materials from time to time. If we find that certain parts can be improved, simplified, or made more effective for classroom learning, we will update them accordingly.

Through these 8 modules, students will gradually learn how to move from curiosity to creation.

They will learn that 3D printing is not only a machine skill — it is a tool that helps them think, design, test, improve, and create real solutions.

This is the purpose of the Future Makers Program : Course 1

To inspire the next generation of makers, designers, and problem solvers.
